Indian Journalism!

If you are a regular audience of news channel shows in Indian television, you would laugh your heart out ;-) Specially Aaj Tak channel has made a mockery of itself.

Check out the below pic:

Now can anyone tell me why he/she would be bothered about a cat’s story on this earth!

Case of Arushi has been so bloated up with all the stories made but if I see it in the correct sense, media has been very helpful in putting pressure on the criminal board of investigation team to find evidences of real truth behind the murder of Arushi. Usually when a case takes ages to get resolved by natural course of legal law in our system – take for example Nitish Kataria’s murder case. Poor mother had to fight literally for so many years to bring justice to sad demise of her son. Going back to Arushi’s case, the convict had made up such dirty stories about her father’s “undesirable relations with her daughter”, that the entire nation felt ashamed of such a thing. Children were questioning their parents “would you also do this to us if we are naughty to you or don’t listen to you” as quoted by a news channel. Isn’t this disgusting?? Thanks to the media that all these false claims have been cleaned.

Media has a big responsibility to engage in information dissemination which is useful and not clog our minds with unwanted and petty things like Amitabh Bachchan felt cold or Commissioner’s dog missing!!

i agree with u that media keeps a pressure on investigation agencies. but they must stick to facts and not indulge in rumour mongering. what media did in the arushi case further worsened the case of talwar’s, ruined their reputation, also involved the dead girl with things anyone would have died hearing of.
